Re: Blue's Barracuda
Not seen stuff like this rust but then the car never really sees bad weather, I will fit some boots though to keep dirt out.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Today’s job, adjustable front suspension limiters and Hotchkis steering arms. Being able to adjust front suspension travel is one way of controlling wheel stands, plus it stops the rod ends on the steering arms from running out of travel.

Re: Dom's 66 Coronet 500
that looks great, i'd be well happy with that. :thumbright: on those tv programs they steam the trim and it tightens it up. if you have one of those handheld steam cleaners maybe give it a go? neil. Re: Dom's 66 Coronet 500
Look good to me, I’d be happy with that. Where did you get the vinyl from? It looks very much like the colour I need for a job.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
Popped the top off the paint this morning and realised the colour was way lighter than it was supposed to be  quick dash to the paint shop for another go and it’s all good. Interior colour matches the door panels and its body colour in the boot. Glad that jobs out of the way it’s been bugging ...

Most people agree that lifters now need more preload than they used to. One of the reasons for that that I’ve heard is “new” lifters start off as used cores which are refurbished. I’ve never found Hughes information to be incorrect so far, so I tend to follow it. Personally I would snug all the rock...
