Re: Bring a Trailer

My Euro Billions list is a bit easier now you've told us that Rob :thumbright:

I really struggle with any form of excitement around modern cars for some reason. I can appreciate them for what they are but that's about as far as it goes. As I'm getting older I would like a truck of some sort ...

Re: Bring a Trailer

It's a cracking cruiser, really nice car. Bit different to the usually wagons, I don't recall seeing many of these

No, not him, he's Midlands based. He bought it as a really nice original driver then restored it and didn't use it.

It is thanks Steve. Hope you are well as well?

All great here in sunny (for a change) Scotland thanks :thumbright:

Have you got anything in mind in particular? Dare I suggest a nice C body? :angel12:

My pal over there keeps sending my some ads for very nice ones at ridiculously low prices ...

Re: Bring a Trailer

I'm surprised at that Blue, you are a hard man to please :D

I know my taste is a bit questionable at times but I like almost all of those (except any with daft wheels of course). The Wayfarer is lovely and I do like a 300 letter car. The AMX (lowm miles) went for good money and I love the look of ...

Re: Avanti time

I thought that too Stu, I seem to remember them recently being well into the 60k range or more. Well, that's what the sellers were asking, not sure if they achieved those figures

Thanks for that Stu, I wasn't aware at all. Now I think about it, the platform is smaller than my Polara. Every day is a school day on the MMA forum :thumbright: :thumbright: :D cheers

Re: Rear shock absorbers

That's a good service! Thinking of the logistics of that is frying my head. You order, someone must pack it, run it by courier straight to the airport, onto a plane that's leaving shortly, over the water, land, through customs, to another courier and out to your door in 24hrs

Fantastic shots Derek, thanks. A very good turnout by the looks of it too. I've got a soft spot for the big 50s Cadillacs, very cool😎

Now that is beautiful! Thanks for posting. My pal Paul sold his immaculate 68 Must and fastback to a collector in Malta a few years ago

Re: Aw ! Cooter died :-(

Yip, me too, I lived for my Saturday fix of cars jumping, compound bows and Daisy Duke in her Daisy Dukes :plymouth: I remember feeling totally depressed when the episodes finished as we couldn't tape anything on our rental telly (good old days). Cooter was as cool as they come and a real shame he's ...

Re: 1964 DODGE POLARA 4 DOOR SEDAN

4 door C Bodies don't appeal to the masses here unfortunately. Prices are rising in the States (for top notch cars in particular) and good driver quality cars are still very affordable. They are actually rarer than 2 door cars due to lots of 4 doors being used in demolition derbies and as drivetrain ...

This eBay ad suggests they are cross model....
