Re: Swapping engine mounts
Thanks - had a quick look and looks pretty simple to do. Not sure I'll need it with my 318 poly though

Swapping engine mounts
Hi all, need to replace my engine mounts as the driver's side has collapsed. Any suggestions on how best to do this? Is it possible to jack the engine up or is it better to rent a hoist?
Cheers,
Rich

Re: Power Steering return hose
Thanks Steve, Yes, this is the low-pressure side. It looked like such a simple hose to replace until I found out that it wasn't standard! Rock Auto appear to offer the correct 3/8" fitting for the steering box, so I've ordered that and hope that it'll allow me to fit 3/8" hose throughout. ...

Re: 66 satelitte FINALLY!
All good thanks, Jon. A few bits and pieces need taking care of, but I've done the best part of 2000 miles since I bought it from you, so it's to be expected. Blue Satellite looks beautiful.

Power Steering return hose
Hi all, My '66 Satellite's power steering return hose split today. Everything on the internet shows this as being standard hose, but mine has two sizes with a metal fitment that transitions between the two. My guess is that the 45 degree return fitting on the steering box has been replaced as it loo...

Re: New (returning) Mopar owner
Thanks all! Yes, I bought this car from Jon (Mr M on here) just over a year ago. A few (minor) plans such as dual circuit disc brake conversion (parts ready to go) and new exhaust, but otherwise will stay pretty much as-is.

New (returning) Mopar owner
Hi all, Have posted in some of the technical sections, so after a year of lurking and asking for other peoples' expertise, I thought it was about time I introduced myself! Was previously a member abuot 10-15 years ago when I had a '70 'cuda, but after six years in Canada, house, and two kids, I got ...

Re: 66 Satellite - dash gauge voltage limiter
Thanks Blue, So perhaps just chance that both gauges are playing silly buggers at the same time then? Will check for earths as you suggest. Any chance that it could be a dodgy earth on the dash cluster? Has never had working dash lights or(interior) turn signal repeaters since I've had her (all on t...

Re: 66 Satellite - dash gauge voltage limiter/fuel & temp gauges
So... I might have been a little premature in my diagnosis of a faulty voltage limiter - have replaced the original with a solid state version and still having the same problems :( : Both fuel and temp gauges look to be reading low (when working). Today, fuel gauge read about 1/2 full when I've just...

Re: 66 Satellite - dash gauge voltage limiter
Yeah, although their website says that they only ship to the US, when I paid, an option did come up for shipping to the UK.
Thanks again Blue.

Re: 66 Satellite - dash gauge voltage limiter
Thanks Blue, Derek,
I like the sound of the solid state version. Just checked Real Time Engineering and they only ship to the States, but I have family over there so might call in a favour! If that doesn't work out then Ebay it is.
Cheers,
Rich

66 Satellite - dash gauge voltage limiter
Hi all,
Looks like the voltage limiter on my '66 Satellite has given up the ghost - I've lost fuel and temp gauges. Any suggestions on the best place to get a replacement?
Thanks for any suggestions!
Rich
