Apologies for being silent for some time but a couple of health issues unfortunately put progress with the car on hold. Things are getting better though and we have managed to make some head way. A quick update, after speaking to couple of people at HMRC the NOVA was completed when the car entered the UK. HMRC confirmed this using the VIN, however they wont forward me any confirmation though? They say that the DVLA will check once the V5 application is submitted. does this sound correct? If ...

As far as I know, it was done once the car entered the country. I would of thought that the car wouldn't of been released from the docks without the duty being payed?
