pushed the car out of the garage on Sunday and aimed it up the drive ( didn't want to try putting it in gear in the garage and punching a car size hole in the wall if it lurches forward ) already got the car warmed up so time to give it a go with plenty of room to bring it to a stop . put it in gear...

after running the car for a bit turned it of and had a check round, found some power steering oil had been leaking out the top seal on the box . no room to work on it in the car so striped out the headers and starter to remove the steering box and order a new set of seals. new seals fitted and box b...

still plenty of work to do like adjusting the torque arms ,bleeding the brakes fitting the new emergency brake cables , getting them clocks back in ,testing all the lights

dash was taken back to bare metal ,we didn't remove the vin tag as we wanted to leave the star shaped rivets in place ,

fitting the new rear disc was easy ,the only problem is the emergency brake cables that came with the kit are to short . drivers side is 2"to short and the passenger side is the same length cable so it only reaches the center of the car , a quick look on the net and found the company in Sutton ...

got a call from Mark asking us to come and have a look at the car . we wasn't sure if this was good news or bad . pulled into his yard and the cars standing out side . a very dull dark day but the paint looked amazing . had a good look round and very pleased . looks wet like he's only just finished ...
