Re: Morgans 68 Charger. Engine #3...

Now that looks familiar! That burnt on oil takes some getting off the headers.Bet your rear tail lights and bumper were also suitably sprayed.

Quite an easy job, not so good laid on back tho.

The reason I ask is, I couldnt fit gaskets as my block has been decked, which in my case means the bolt holes don't line up with pan if I try to fit gaskets, because effectively both heads when ...

Re: Valley pan issue

Anthony

Is the crack always in the same place ? A crack will start from a weak point, possibly a bolt hole. Does it start from the 3 bolt retainer plate ?

Re: Valley pan issue

I don't see how crank case pressure could crack a steel valley gasket unless its a fibre one. ( never seen a fibre one ) Just replaced mine recently and the steel ones are fairly thick. Can you post a photo of the crack ?

Re: 26th MOPAREURONATS 2019

Hi Tony

I assume the Coral is the parking area as you go through the Pit entrance to the right of the service road, opposite the toilet cabin on the left :)
That's where I usually park, at Dragstalgia they put traders in there.

Thanks

I ask as I usually park my show car in the Pits, however this year at Dragstalgia a few weeks back, no show cars were allowed in the Pits and the show n shine was sited next to the Fun Fare. Management told me this was...

Re: Morgans 68 Charger. Engine #3...

Oh the rear oil seal, such joy. Mine leaked onto the collector offside turned black and smoked like a good un, trailed all the way to the rear and splattered the rear panel & bumper in a mist of oil.The side seals on the seal retainer or lack of them were my issue, just silicon ed up, not good. ...
