68-70 wheel arch trim

I only need the rears as the ones I bought a few years ago have been trimmed for wider tyres then cut and rewelded to open them out to allow for presumably a ton of body filler!

They don't need to be perfect. Just need to be the right shape!

Re: Classic car insurance

Nice one Derek!
I probably would have taken my business elsewhere and not phoned them so good to know it was worth calling them!

Re: hudsen mufflers

OK. I ordered two mufflers from this company on 5/12/23. Been back twice to chase them up. was told today, could be a week, a month, a year, who knows!!! So, was recommended to try Custom Chrome in Nuneaton . What a difference. They had a big variety in stock, made on the premices, in stainless. Go...

It also assumes he can write. Irritated for you. That's exactly what Mel said! I imagine they'll give him a template to copy! I've made a formal complaint as there was further evidence to submit and no one ever took my statement. I have also requested a right to review! I've done all I can do now s...

Re: Part restored Charger value?

Quick update on this if anyone is interested. I'm persevering with the Charger although I'm not really enjoying it. There's a long way to go yet! I've also just had a phone call from the police. I haven't heard a thing from them until now despite me contacting them 7 times in 9 weeks. Yesterday I wr...

Re: Remake wiring harness? Good idea or not?

Thanks Dave,
This one is from my car as it turns out. It was 2009 when I removed it and chucked it in the loft.

I think I can clean it up as you say and figure it out.

I'll probably do as Pete suggested and design a new one or go the Painless route! Not sure yet!

Re: 1.6 GT XLR

That's a bit naughty of your Dad! I had 3 mk3s. Always fancied a MK1 myself but never did buy one! Not quite the same but when my Dad was living at home he had a dog that disappeared on his first day of work after leaving school! He was absolutely convinced that my Grandad had something to with the ...

Re: 1968 Plymouth gtx convertible for sale

If you're still thinking of selling, Derek, you could swap with Steve?! :-k  Are you sure about that value Steve? There was one for sale at Billing in 2006, up for £37500... I know it was Alan Carrington, but it was 17 years ago  Convertibles go for well over $100k in the States these d...

Re: Remake wiring harness? Good idea or not?

It definitely won't be concours Pete although I don't want to stray too far from factory appearance! How would I improve the charging circuit? And the hole left by the deleted bulkhead plug? Weld it up and cut a smaller hole for the loom? The car as still a bare shell at the moment so easy enough to...
