Thanks for your replies, sorry for late response . I think you are correct the pump should have had a spring so I have used the old one and charger is running fine, as you say dealing with rockauto works well until there is a problem.

Hi..hope someone can help, just received my new carter m3672 fuel pump from rockauto, it came with no arm spring..my question is do I use the old one or do new pumps not need one..thanks
