I've got everything on its own toggle switch so I can easily crank it over then flick the switch to bring on ignition, so that can be a plan b is she gets tricky to start.

Very insightful Dave thank you. Lots to think about.
Like you I dont see much track use so it still needs to behave on the street. I do have a manual valve body on the 727 trans, so no vacuum there or on the distributor.

I think that sounds similar to what I was thinking too some sort of cranking retard.
Locked out at 34 sounds like a good trial if nothing else.

It all got sorted in the end, the issue was more with auto windscreens who were the glass vendor however I had basically no support from Brenracre as they were "just the broker". They said they would help but when it came down to it they were unable to help.in any way at all.

I was with brenracre since owning the car,may well switch to classic line come renewal after the hassle and stress I had over the recent glass claim.

I was going to do that too, however you need to check the bus membership gets you in to all the brooklands special events, it may just be for regular entry. Got to check that out. I went for brooklands family membership in the end, if you go 2.5 times it's paid for itself.
