Re: Insurance
Just renewed, went with Adrian flux. They were cheaper than anyone else.
135 for the year plus 18 for agreed value.
All mods declared and commuting included for the odd drive to work.
They now have all my vehicles insured with them!

Re: Please read if you have been to American Speedfest before
Been twice before, got nothing against the event, just for the family to go now it's going to cost me the thick end of £200 for a day with fuel prices as they are.
For that money I could have a weekend at the pod for a FIA event.

Re: Chryslers at Brooklands 2026
It's that time of the year when I have to ask if anyone wants to give me and hour or so to help me out at Brooklands, you need to be there by 8.30am, it's just telling people where to park and answer any questions that may be asked by the public..
all I can offer is one free entry pass for the ...

Re: Upper control arms
Personally I just order direct from mancini or usually smmit/jegs/roc auto directly.
Worth checking Amazon too. You would be surprised what they have in there bs include international delivery for frre. I've had all sorts from there and surprised at how cheap.its worked out.

Re: Locking out timing on a street car
Yeah the more I think about it, it's probably fuel evaporation or something similar from sitting for a few minutes.
I've got a 1" carb spacer which helps. The motor was running a bit warmer than usual but not super hot.

Re: Locking out timing on a street car
So driving it to brooklands today seems fine, throttle response certainly is very crisp.
However hot starting seemed to need to crank and crank and crank before firing. I'm not sure if it's timing related or I'm just not pumping enough fuel in to get it going.
Got a bit more playing to do I think ...

Re: Locking out timing on a street car
Locked to 34. On the button to start cold and when hot and finally got decent vacuum.
When locking it out I noticed the pro billet bearings were a bit rough especially the top one
I was able to get the part numberof the bottom one but the top I couldn't see any details. Does anyone know of they ...
