Re: Floyd Brothers 70 Challenger
nut works really well. also once used a piece of flat bar with a hole in it, ready made lever, and can be as long as you want...BUT just make sure its thin enough to bend up out of the way once everything is moving otherwise you replace one impediment to taking it out (snapped stud)... with another ...

Re: Classic car insurance
i'm with heritage/norton 3 years now £140 £180 this year £156 if you get in touch 28 days before renewal you seem to get a better deal leave it to the last minute and they know you have nowhere to go, any supplier can have a field day at your expense because tomorrow you are not insured for any type...

Re: Slip yoke
you can also get slip yokes, with a longer slip bit... if you catch me drift but be careful on a trans that has a speedo drive up that end. i know nout about 833s or TFs so no idea if that's an issue mine has a bellows on the seal original style rather than modern flat, and sticks out about 1/2 inch...

Re: Rob & Stu's 69 Sport Satellite
Yes probably. i think you can do that. put a 1/2 turn on, bleed down the lifter for a few min, watch the rocker and wind it back a 1/4 if you hit rock bottom it will be obvious gonna depend on the thread pitch of the adjuster and the angles involved but i would say yes provided you set them up right...

Re: VIP VG sedan
when it comes to window regulators there will be commonality with 66 67 68 US cars i would suspect yours is a VIP so the oddness on your car is slightly longer rear doors i.e the fronts should have internals much like a late 60s 4 door US model and of course the one that is worn out on yours is pass...

Re: For sale in UK
id have this if it was £6K and put it right, sell the ford stuff, and put back a Mopar Drive train to fit that engine and box i think they will have hacked out the middle of the torsion bar cross member. so would need a new one of them fitted and it would be worth about £20K-£30K to an Australian in...

Re: Strut Rod Bush?
the washers may be the correct way round for the year of the car and the rubber that was fitted if you look across a range of manuals you will find that chrysler changed their mind about 50,000 times over the 60s and 70s across early and late A and B bodies the age of the car would normally have had...
