Re: Fifty shades of Jade
I've not been on here for quite some time so I've just read the last few pages and had to fit all that in my head in one go.

Re: db's 66 Belvedere ***FOR SALE***
Father, It's been several months since my last confession... So the Belve got finished and is looking and working better than ever, but I'm barely using it now. Re: db's 1970 DODGE A108 Sportsman van
All done, back on the road :D I found a local old-skool engineering shop to ream the bushes for me. The disc conversion was pretty straightforward to fit except- the new m/cyl is a bit longer so some trimming and bashing was needed. Also the caliper fouled the lower shock eyes so I relocated them wi...

Re: db's 1970 DODGE A108 Sportsman van
The thing I'm mainly not getting is that the reamer blades are slightly tapered, I expected them to be dead parallel.

Progress!
Pin out, it was in a bad state!
Bushes out- carefully cut with a hacksaw to relieve, then a very sharp chisel.
New bushes now going in, pressed in the vice with a die turned by my mate John.

Re: db's 1970 DODGE A108 Sportsman van
It's happening...
Spent most of today stripping off the drums, hubs and trying to shift the kingpins. One wasn't too bad but the left one is proper seized. I've had to take off the axle and have it set up in my press ready to get serious on it's ass.

Re: 26th MOPAREURONATS 2019
Is that car not finished or other commitments? A combination of things really mate. An expensive remortgage has meant no spare cash. Add to that no time to properly go over the Belve after the fire repairs, issues with bringing the kids and Dusty desperately needs the disc upgrade and the kingpins ...
