I doubt anyone's about to rebuild their jack, after what's previoussly been posted but... I just found this in an oldish (2023) Practical Classics that was heading for the recycling... :read2:

Im with Ali, love the Toronado. Hate the wheels on the Charger, original would be better in my opinion or some ' normal' chrome 500s. I really dont like those bigger new versions of the 500 that Chip Foose used all the time. Nice car though, looks great in black :thumbright:

Looking at the rest of the floor, these thin flaps of metal were on the drivers side, presumably to cover the wiring running the length of the car to the rear. Only tacked in a couple of places and bent over, so they are coming away anyway.

Are these standard, does anyone know, or just something ...

I was going to do that too, however you need to check the bus membership gets you in to all the brooklands special events, it may just be for regular entry. Got to check that out. I went for brooklands family membership in the end, if you go 2.5 times it's paid for itself.

Pete - if you see this - do you know anyone local-ish that does trolley-jack servicing?
Ours could do with a bit of a freshen-up, as one doesn't lift as far as it should and the other doesn't lower in a controlled manner... :shock:

I was wondering if Thunder Road get theirs repaired/serviced ...

There is another option that I noticed on the Brooklands website yesterday. They have a type of membership called Club, which is £210 per year (if you pay by direct debit) but its for 2 named adults plus up to 5 guests of any age.
