Re: Manual swap charger

I would suggest living with the auto for a while.
I am now of an age where manual is just a pain, maybe I am too old or traffic these days means that auto is just simpler.
Also hill starts are a pain with a manual Mopar as you haven't got enough feet to hold the handbrake as well, minor point but ...

Re: big block to go in ashley's zephyr

yes mate and it's cheaper than i remember at £12.49 inc' delvery. :thumbright: it compresses those uprated 428 cobrajet springs easily so better than the price would suggest too. don't forget a length of 'cotton' rope to fill the cylinder at bdc so when turned over it jams the valves up in place ...

Have you got a link for that compressor tool? I could do with one to sort my valve stem seals out without removing the heads.

Chrysler Argentina

Yes they do exist, Chrysler built cars in Argentina until 1979 and I have been lucky enough to see a real one over here in the UK, whilst trying to help the owner register it with DVLA.
The car is a 1978 Dodge GTX, A body 2 door, 318 manual.
The owner will hopefully post on here soon, but it was ...

I'm so impressed with the work you do, you just seem to fly through it, do you have longer days than every one else, 36 hours instead of 24?

Re: New charger

Very nice indeed, those photos look like they are above the A1M in Hertfordshire, I may be wrong.
You say the car was serviced by Norton Way Motors. If so I may know a bit more about this car and who looked after it, again I may be wrong but once you get it home and dig through the paperwork ...
