Thats right Tiff the cast iron water pump,ali timing chain cover and damper is differant to the latter ali water pump, timing chain cover and damper. John they did use small block chevy rods and mopar pistons the pistons had 100 th ground off. If I find the mag i will try to scan it and try to attach it

REAL STEEL BUILT ONE OF THESE MOTORS A FEW YEARS BACK YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE 360 CRANK MAINS GROUND DOWN TO 318 SIZE AND HAVE THE PISTON TOPS GROUND. You can ajust the band. If you have an inch pound toque wrench tighten the band to 72 inch pounds then back off 1 1/2 turns. If you dont the books all say tighten to if fills snug and back off the same. The other thing is have if you arnt useing a manual valvue body you have got to have your kick do...
