I just measure out the quantities and pour it in Phil, it will soon mix once you drive it. ATF will make the box noisier because it is so much thinner than EP, so it has the effect of opening up the clearances on the syncro sliders, that is the main reason it shifts faster, I suspect ATF is also &qu...

These old transmissions can get real noisy if you run them on thinner oil than EP90, and Dave is right, ATF is the hot tip for faster shifting. I put a 90% ATF 10% EP90 mix in Petes 4 speed for a compromise, and that seems to be fine. The other problem with running straight ATF is that unless all th...

Whack your pickle fork in there tight to get some pressure against the spindle, then carefully warm up around the top of the spindle and the ball joint should pop out, you shouldn't need to use much heat and it won't harm the spindle. It is easier to separate components from each other while they ar...

Yes everything is mounted off the frame, unlike the other tricker looking conversions that use the original shock mount that was never designed to take the full weight of the car. Bill has destruction tested the componenets so you know they won't fail. This is the only kit I know of that fits, works...

Yes that's right, only the rack would need to be changed to go RHD, Andy and Bill Reilly who makes it have it all figured out as Tweety is at Bill's as we speak being converted. Of course the plan has changed and it's getting a full strut front end now ..... You can use any oil pan you like with an ...

You will have to take the starter out for sure, You will need to raise the motor and tilt it for each side to go on also. Get the car raised up as high as you can so the headers aren't hitting the ground as you are trying to work them into position. If the heads have studs for the headers you will n...

Many times, places like Demon tweeks stock a verity of bends and you just weld 'em up, that's how most big bore systems have to be made. Just plan it out carefully, measure twice cut once. Hang the mufflers first choosing a position that gives the most ground clearance and tack everything up first b...

There is a decibel limit as regards exhausts, MOT stations have no means of checking this so it will be down to the tester. You can certainly get nicked for it though, and the traffic police do have the means to check it! From memory the limit is 90db from a given distance from the car. Those Moroso...
