I think the 17s look great Del.

Can I buy your Magnums? :D

Just kidding. If I were you I'd keep both sets so you can swap as the mood takes you.

Happy with the current subscription. If we build up a surplus due to digital mag, we can think of things to spend it on. How about a new window sticker? On the other hand, if the digital mag would create an embarrassing surplus, there's no harm in reducing the subs. It might make it more attractive ...

I think the cost of fuel has a lot to do with it. I've still got my R/T - I just can't afford to drive the ruddy thing. Used to take it to events all over the country. Now it's just the Nats. Bored with the same cars at local shows, so I can't be bothered with that scene. I'm more inclined to go for...

Lots of work there John. Guess it spent too long in the UK.

You should share some of the history that you learned from Mrs Landseer. Are you still in touch with her, or has she passed on? Didn't she tell us the car was made of aluminium or something? Bless her.

My ol' 68 Satellite had a "smog" 1975 318 in it and 2.76 gears, but regularly ran 15.0 at 96 mph (crossing the line in 2nd gear!). Never quite got a 14 out of it. Much under-rated engine.

Hey John! Great to see you on here. Let's see those pics of the car as it is now.

How are the mountain bikes?

Yes Gary, RHD. Currently the best selling Chrysler product in the States, even outselling the Ram, but not many of them about over here. They only imported 200 last year.

Yes Martin, I've heard that WJs can have issues. Both of my XJs were very reliable. Hopefully there's not much to go wrong on this one. It has central locking and electric windows... and that's it.

Thanks chaps. Dave81: Carolyn describes the interior as "like driving in a toolbox". The later (2011 on) models are much plusher, heated leather seats etc., but that's not what it's about, in my opinion. I want to be able to remove the drain plugs and hose out the interior. I'll take a pic...

Thanks chaps :) Yes, the pic shows the Rubicon wheels and tyres, an ebay bargain. It came with 16" alloys and 30" tyres, but they looked lost in those arches. Only problem was that the taller tyres made it harder to get in for a shortarse like me, so I had to fit the side steps. Or, as I p...

My new Mopar

After 12 years of faithful service, my old 4 litre XJ Cherokee failed its MOT last year with a crusty bottom, so I sold it to an off-roading buddy. It's taken me a while, but I finally found a black JK Wrangler Unlimited that matched my spec, and I'm tickled to bits with it. It has the 2.8 CRD with ...

Carolyn says Bobby Allison didn't drive a standard Charger in 1969, only 500s and Daytonas. She's probably right - I can't be bothered to look it up.

There are a few genuine NASCAR cars in the UK. They frequently make an appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Toyota displayed an ex-Brian Vickers Red Bull sponsored Camry this year, so you might try contacting them.
