You are very right in saying there is a time limit to pay duties, but I would have thought after some many years someone should have paid and have proof. If not, I think you need to make some tentative enquiries re outstanding duties.

I am not aware of time limits but you will need HMRC proof of import duties paid to register.

Question - will an 18 spline A833 fit a 1970 383 Magnum Challenger R/t or does it need to be 23 spline?
