Les knows his onions but he looks at everything from a racing perspective. I've seen 1150 dominators on small blocks working fine, it just depends on the combo and who did the carb, remember 340's came with an 850 thermoquad in 71 anyway. However, if you're looking for decent economy dont use an 850...

Matt, you can fit A body SS springs on an E body, you just need a longer front hanger which they sell as well.

I took a Datsun 100A for a free mot test and the guy said it was the first time he'd ever filled out 2 pages and suggested i put a claim in for subsidence.. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, fortunately i did the former and scrapped it.

Spacers nearly always pick up power, also they prevent heat soak, makes for better hot starting.

Thanks to Rob and Stu's spare wheel he got home fine. I think he could have got home on the damaged tyre but it would have been painfully slow, almost as painful as listening to his whinging all weekend. ;)
