Cant believe the 68 RR went for just under $30k.
Love the 318 Satellite and the Javelin looks to be a lovely , cheap and useable way to enjoy the hobby.
Thanks for posting

Re: 64 Plymouth Belvedere post car
Think the big bit of progress here Pete is getting out there and getting stuck in again. Youve been through a lot with this car and you will definately get there. A lot of long Winter evenings coming so a few 2 or 3 hr sessions a week will get tons done and you will be driving her in the Spring. Tha...

Re: be still my beating heart
Very interesting write ups and very sobering too. These brave men (and also some very talented ladies) have something in their blood that must just consume them with desire to win roadraces. Its the only motorsport that I would love to be able to do and the only one that wouldnt eventually bore me. ...

Re: be still my beating heart
Thats some line up! Love the fact than these guys are true legends with courage and skill in bucket loads but are still grounded and very happy to talk to those who are interested and fans of the sport. Most are very humble, honest gentlemen, confident in their skills but not cocky or bullish (unlik...

Re: be still my beating heart
What a picture! The skill needed to get the smaller bikes round without relying on pure power always amazes me. The momentum carried and the corner speed is unbelievable. My 'smaller bike' hero is Ian Lougher. Met him at the Centenary TT and came across as a very nice fella indeed. Cheers Steve :thu...

Great picture. Must have been pretty intimidating having Joey Dunlop and John McGuiness breathing down your neck!!!
Im a huge fan of Stephen Davisons work (not sure who took this pic) and just love bike racing photography. Thanks for sharing

Re: Part restored Charger value?
An all round awful situation to have to deal with Matt. Reasonable force is very subjective. Its all about your honest perception of threat level at the time and it sounds like you did just enough to deal with the situation and no more than necessary.....perfect. Drunk people are notoriously difficu...

Re: Part restored Charger value?
Im absolutely no expert at all Matt and am sure some classes etc will at least give you an appreciation of situational awareness etc. The instructors will spend time on threat perception, quickly assessing options, reasonable force etc etc and will give you knowledge and a bit of confidence to stay ...

Re: Part restored Charger value?
Around £8k would get you something like this....440 / 727, low miles and easy to import. Almost exactly the same mechanicals as a Charger, just cheaper and not as common. Stick some nice original Mopar 'Road wheels' on it or some Magnum 500s (though I love original) and it would be a great car to ha...

Re: Part restored Charger value?
Sorry to hear all of this Matt and I hope you feel better soon. Get professional help if you need it as they will help you to put things in perspective and into context. I know its off thread but a VERY important conversation. From what you are saying, your intentions were very good and you showed c...

Re: REDLINE TYRES
Im guessing very expensive? My American car dream will be complete if I own at least one set in my lifetime. Im considering turning my white letter BFs around and getting redlines put on the inside wall. They are a bit sporty for my car. My other option is to buy a set if theres money left in the po...
