Planning to tick this off the bucket list this year (29/6 - 2/7). Anyone else going?
A company called Travel Destinations have been recommended to us, but I'm tempted to organise it ourselves. Any tips? Best campsites, grandstands etc (Rob, Guy, Andy)?

I would focus on the metering rods and springs before changing jets (after setting the timing, as Pete said). On my application (440 with mild cam), I had to use lighter springs to allow the reduced vacuum at idle to overcome them. The stock springs allowed the metering rods to 'step up' to the main...

275/60 on 15x8 will go under the back of a 69/70 Coronet with plenty of room to spare if the wheels have zero offset (i.e. 4" backspace). 235/60x15 on the front will give you a slight rake, though you can always adjust the ride height with the torsion bars. If you want a level stance, a better ...
