Vehicle import

One for Ron Fenton maybe I have brought three cars into the country over the years. Latest is due to land on Sunday. Had an email from HMRC for a EORI number. Haven't had to do this before, from what I can work out ,it's for company's importing goods, not a personal import. EORI is Economic Operater...

Re: Drag Week

It's pie in the sky for most over here I suppose. Unless you fly over , buy a car like Blues on about. Race it, t...

Drag Week

Been watching the highlights on YouTube from previous years. Anybody on here thought about doing it. I know Mick Wilkes did it in the Viva van. Looks a great event, punishing on the cars and drivers though. Wish I had the money and time.

Re: Vynil roof removal

Right ...Thats it, will leave it alone. Heard manufacturers kept all the "dodgy roofed" shells for vynil options. Sounds like I could be opening a can of worms. Plus glass removal is an added pain.

Vynil roof removal

Anybody removed a vynil roof, is it as easy as I think.
Rip it off, rub down , paint. Or are there some pitfalls,... any advice.
Cheers.

Coronet ( the Gold one)

Blue, Maroon, now Gold. My third Coronet. Gone 66, 65 back to 66, with daliences with a 57 GMC panel ( don't ask!) and a 49 Plymouth Coupe ( too slow ) inbetween. Thought I'd missed the boat to get back to 60s B bods. Chargers, Challengers are out of my reach. So too are Roadrunners, GTXs. Prices fo...

Re: Road trip

Nice trip Derek, glad you liked Yorkshire 8-) . With my job ,it's a bonus I get to see most of the country and Europe. I just take it for granted and never give it a thought that some people don't travel far. Agree ,there is some great places to visit here.

Most of the import pack is type approval rubbish. Doesn't apply to our age of cars. There's only about 10/12 sections to fill in,
