Yeah a lot of it is down to cost. Shipping a car there and back , I'd not even guess that. It's bad enough shipping one way. Take into account insurance ,fuel, accommodation , breakages. Been watching the highlights on YouTube from previous years. Anybody on here thought about doing it. I know Mick Wilkes did it in the Viva van. Looks a great event, punishing on the cars and drivers though. Wish I had the money and time.

Right ...Thats it, will leave it alone. Heard manufacturers kept all the "dodgy roofed" shells for vynil options. Sounds like I could be opening a can of worms. Plus glass removal is an added pain.

Anybody removed a vynil roof, is it as easy as I think.
Rip it off, rub down , paint. Or are there some pitfalls,... any advice.

Nice trip Derek, glad you liked Yorkshire . With my job ,it's a bonus I get to see most of the country and Europe. I just take it for granted and never give it a thought that some people don't travel far. Agree ,there is some great places to visit here.

Our nieghbours had the same Bananarama! with builders. Started first week in April. 3 month job, here we are still saying finish in next 2 weeks. Thing is they have 2 or 3 jobs on the go at once, flit between all of em.
