Bicester Scramble

The first-ever two-day Scramble at Bicester is being held this weekend, the 5th & 6th June. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 protocols, tickets had to be purchased well in advance as they are not selling tickets at the gate. I was just wondering if anyone else from the club is heading over there t...

Great pics, sorry arrived late but great seeing some of the fellow club members; drove the 1320 this time, wanted to share a pic parked alongside the Greenlights Challenger.

Re: Thank you

Certainly agree, it was a great day out! Hats off to Derek and the team for organizing today's successful event. Liz and I really enjoyed meeting up again with old friends and making new ones at such an iconic venue. Looking forward to seeing you all at the Mopar Euro Nationals!

Re: 50th anniversary commemorative Challenger

Great looking Challenger with a fantastic engine; I also have the 6.4 engine in my Scat Pack 1320 and it never fails to put smile on my face when I take it out for a drive. Are you going to bring it to the Mopar Nationals at Santa Pod this summer? Would love to see in the 'flesh' so to speak. \:D/

Re: Dodge Challenger SRT8 drag radials

Congrats, nice ride! Regarding your question of fitting larger rubber, I do have personal experience as I installed 20x10 wheels with a 25mm offset on the rear of my Scat Pack Late model Challenger. Mounted 305/35ZR 20s on the wheels and they fit perfectly in the wheel wells. Given that I would beli...

Re: battery overcharging ?

I'm not an expert on automotive electrics but I've gained quite a bit of experience over the years especially with my 70 Challenger that had a difficult to diagnose short for many years which I finally resolved last summer. Given that I constantly had to disconnect my battery anytime I parked lest I...

Re: NEC 2021 - MMA Presence? Member's views

I had the honour of displaying my car at the 2019 show and I too really enjoyed the camaraderie of our fellow club members and chatting with public about our cars. Steve did a tremendous job of being the project lead and organizing our stand for the show and it is a loss that he's no longer able to ...

Re: Finally escaped!!!

Congratulations Steve, great way to start the new year. We recall you telling us at the NEC show how you were seriously considering relocating to Scotland; glad you found such a wonderful place to spend your retirement. Liz and I love visiting Scotland so hopefully we have an opportunity to meet up ...

Re: Challenger Dash Wiring Harness

Got the dash out today, found another melted portion of the wiring harness. Now just waiting for the new harness to arrive from YearOne,

Re: Challenger Dash Wiring Harness

Yes I did read Steve's very informative article and I do plan on bypassing the ammeter when installing the new harness as I do believe the ammeter may have been the cause of my melted harness. I'm also running the heavy gauge wire from the alternator to the starter solenoid to take some of the amper...
