Just got back from US and found this in my suitcase ! Result ! Appears to be the new 'sniper2' with dizzy and coil and loom and automatic timing blah blah blah. I'm not a purist.
Guess my winter project is sorted then...
It'll be a slow burn thread but I will keep it updated

Re: Part restored Charger value?
Sorry to read this one - what a story. No shame in any of it - not surprised you are feeling PTSD ish. For what its worth I think you'd be surprised just how many people are struggling in some way or another under the surface, behind the scenes. Secondly, as Pete says, yeah, everyone loves a Charger...

Re: Ignition cables
Interesting on the Taylor’s. Been looking at those- they do a 45degboot - I have a mix of 90 and straight currently with a couple of heat socks to try and negate touching issues

Re: Life advice
Just to echo really James and reach out - you are not alone in the way the mind-monkey can make you feel. For what its worth, as far as I can see, most people are blagging it in some way; what you see is not the reality. I only really came to terms with this once I got a bit older I think - and even...

Re: 440 Replacement Starter Motor issue
Surprised - in that I have used a couple of mini-starters on 2 diff 440s and they just bolted on. Agree - I had a sticky pinion that stopped engagement but otherwsie - bolt on bolt off. When you suss it, one piece of advice I would give you is put a heat shield round it - my headers killed one or tw...

New book
Just treated myself to a newly-released publication. More for learning and information than serious intent... thought it might be of interest though.

My brakes are awful currently - no vacuum - but I hadn’t considered the little safety switch. Thanks Dave - will check it out.
