Re: Waterless Coolant

if you're putting it in a museum fine, if you are planning to use it then best avoided. Used it on various cars including race cars and had nothing but problems. main one being the engine oil runs much hotter. not an issue you'd think would be related but i have seen first hand proof tested back to ...

:salute:

Sorted that steering wheel yet? that would drive me mad.

Sad you sold the Honda S600 but in the first road test video body language suggested you didn't like the way it drove (apart from the tight fit)

I've got the F20c powered S800. hopefully on the road next year.

Re: French Racing Hemi Cuda

there is a Hemi Cuda that features in the Avon Tour of Britain '73 to '75 dvd

french registered.

1974 Tour of Britain only found this one on youtube, no Cuda but still worth watching.

Re: 1966 Barracuda

cheers Neil. i did search kits but found they wouldn't work and actually quite expansive. PCD on the S800 is 5x130.(5 X 5.1 inches) same as a Porsche. The reason for using the Cortina P100 half-shafts is that they are 5x127 so easy to re-drill to the 5x130 I require. The P100 shafts required the P10...

Re: 1966 Barracuda

I still have the Barracuda but not done a lot with it apart from covering the bodywork with Duck-oil and changing the car cover every year. plan is to get the S800 rolling, knock down the garage and have a workshop built in the back garden. anyway, the S800. Thought you may like to see how it's gett...

Re: 68 valiant signet 2 door

nice. I'm keeping and modifying the one i have in mine because it has the T lever reverse lock out. Hurst shifters do away with this and it's just 'rammed' across. I just like the technical look of the 'inland' lever. They are easy to strip to remove the cable for any mods that may be required. and ...

Re: 68 valiant signet 2 door

looks like a stock shifter. 'Inland' I think they are called. it should have the 'T' handle for selecting reverse on the shifter itself.

Out Of Shadows

hour+ film covering some of what has been discussed here. (not 911 though) advise you may find some the content upsetting and possibly unbelievable but I do believe we live in a sick and twisted world.

it works the other way around. it's known as cosine error. your measurement is bigger than actual.
