Another restoration query. We’ve all probably replaced the hinges or pins on our cars but when buying a Chrysler pin kit with 2 pins and 4 top hat bushes I’ve only ever used two bushes and one pin to repair the top hinge only. Well it just goes to show we learn something new everyday,
When I’ve fitted these in the past I’ve disregarded these seals but have run sealer round the base.

B body wiper spindle seals/ gaskets.
Does anybody know what the two black sticky strips are in this photo,
Came with the gasket set, I can only assume they wrap round under the the round black spindle seal to stop it dropping down in situ.

It was a really good turnout with some top quality motors.
