Thanks Mick.....Ive got a factory manual so will check that now I know what areas Im looking at to find out exactly what to do. Im guilty of reading too much sometimes when the tools just need to come out and get on with it!!

Hi, anyone know where I can get a set of black rubber original or repo original style front and rear floor mats for my 68 Polara sedan (auto column shift). 68 Monaco sedan mats should also fit. Got spark for at least few seconds as runs fine and I loosened the fuel pipe at the carb and fuel came out so happy with pump. Got a test to do as per earlier post to check ballast resistor so thats on going. Not sure exactly how to check reluctor gap but will take dist cap off and have a look. Shou...

Thanks Mick... Ive got a timing light (never used it though!) so will check that when I work out how to do it without the engine running. Im trying to think logically about it and am guessing I attach it to the battery +/- and number 1 plug lead, ignition on, somehow hand crank till the timing marks...

Forgot to say, if anyone doesnt know, the Edelbrock web site has detailed installation and owners manuals for all of their products that can be saved and/ or printed off if needed.

The ignition is MOPAR PERFORMANCE and was already fitted when I bought the car. Im in Solihull in the West Midlands.
