I Have looked into this story a few times, hoping for an update, but sadly almost nothing has come of it since it was first reported.
My guess is that it was either joyridden, then burnt in the arse-end of nowhere and its just not been found, or more likely, its collecting dust, in a collection of similarly stolen cars, somewhere in the middle east.

Steve Juliano passed away a few months back, lucky to have met him a real wealth of Mopar knowledge, unfortunately cancer took him far to young. Not only his car collection was awesome, including hugely rare AC Cobra's as well as Mopes but his Chrysler memorabilia was I believe the most collected by one person. As for the Mod top Cuda, Oman, Saudi or Dubai take your pick!
