Dont be shy - what you up to?

Post by RobTwin »

Not sure how may of the 450+ registered users we currently have are regular contributors to this forum but I figure there's only about 15 regular contributors in the Workshop section and a few more who post the odd bit of info about their projects in other sections.

I'm not saying the 'board is quiet at the mo, just pointing out that unless there's only about 4% of MMA members with projects on the go, there must be a whole bunch of people keeping theirs under wraps :-$

I know this has been mentioned before but doing so usually brings the odd one or two Secret Squirrels out of the woodwork ;)

So come on, anyone else got some tidbits they'd like to share?

I was talking to one "secret squirrel" here this morning who is scheduled to deliver a surprise at this year's Nats....I'll leave it up to him to say something, should he wish to post a teaser!

You tease Ivor.

Nothing going on with the Charger, it's all done.

Got Scott's car in the garage, engine, gearbox and steering are all out getting a refresh.

either going to fit new SB in Fury, or try to sort the Poly. Probably cheaper to replace.

And fit a CB antenna! LOL!

Well I have been recovering at home after yet another operation, unable to walk for at least two weeks, not been near the garage for months now as I was really struggling to walk before the op and was only able to do two days at work out of six so I used up a load of this years holiday already  Hopefully this is the last one and I can get on with my life and get back to work on the Dart..

Was hoping to get a move on with mine this year, got most of the bits etc, but have friends coming over from the USA later on, and this means sorting out the house!!!!
May well try to get it back on the road with the little 383 for this year, and DEFINATELY get a move on with it either later in the year, or start of next!
Also got my Cossie sitting around needing some work on it, got a few replacement panels to change on my Jeep, Truck needs a little tlc as i've now had it 9 years and done virtually NOTHING to it in that time, Jans Crossfire might need a new exhaust, and then there's my van, needing a few jobs too..............Why the hell do we stretch ourselves out so much?! :help:

i am plodding perilously close to a dry build of my motor to check the previoulsy discovered collision between moving parts has been erradicated by a man with a milling machine

and i stuck the webers on the current motor but battery is flat, I can't find a throttle cable clamp nut to try it out and part of the linkage hits the hood when its down....

Mmmm

all easily overcome when time permits
