Pete wrote: Mon May 28, 18 11:22 am You are right there, Duncan.

The 3rd Gen Charger picked up a prize and the Challenge would have got one, but left before the Judging was completed. I think it had a hemi in it too.....

Fantastic day, and thanks as ever for posting some great pictures.

Note to self: Must not stand in profile when pictures are being taken, or alternatively do not tuck shirt in!!!! :pale:
I thought the white Challenger had already had an award at Brooklands.... but maybe it was the Euro Nats... :-k Yes it is a great looking car, one of JC's recent jobs 8-)

It has a stroked small-block tho despite the hemi badge :-k

Sorry about the 'profile' pics Pete - I should have ben more considerate, I suffer the same problem myself if I'm not careful with choice of clothes and/or posture

SAV@RPM wrote: Mon May 28, 18 4:44 pm Great pictures as usual Rob, thanks for posting. The red 71 Charger R/T once belonged to Brutus Gold who runs a 70’s roadshow. I built an engine for it back in the nineties complete with air con and a six pack (something the factory never offered) I wondered what happened to that car, great to see it’s still about and looking sharp.
Hi Martin, shame you couldn't make it there, wasn't the same without one of your 'specials' 8-)

We've seen that 71 Charger at the Ace Cafe a few times over the last couple of years and my son saw it driving in Camden Town a few weeks ago, so yes it's good to see it out & about :thumbright:

Dave B built the engine in the 71 Charger, he's local to me and come to the Chelsea Cruise and Krispy Kreme.

Great photos Rob and thank you for sharing them here, I have been looking for some photos since Sunday to see how the weather was if anything.

I was intending to turn up but distance from Worcester and the weather forecast put me off.

Looked like a great turn out and lovely cars.

That’s the one Duncan, Antonio could never get in to run right so did away with the sixpack then last year Dave B rebuilt the engine. Quite a mild build I think. Dave where are you.

Great pics Rob, looks like I missed a great day. Red 71 Charger is gorgeous, was at Welwyn 2 weeks ago.

I like the new layout, site looks good with the hanger gone and a larger space now.

Clearly the Sunday has proved the right day. Well done to all concerned with organising and attending to make it a success. :thumbright:

Superb pics Rob! Something to be said for a decent zoom at a static meet.
