What was he thinking. Looks like he belongs on Fame! What a plonker.

And that was the issue, he would go on stage in Ballet Shoes and a Tu-Tu just to provoke the audience.... not very "Rock and Roll".

Ironically, the fans are quite traditional....

It meant that his very reals skills got overlooked....

Curious, Dom :-k Have you got a copy of that rarity?

I think the most valuable record we (me & Stu) have is probably this

Ha, I wish, I'm toying with bagging one of the represses to add to the collection. I don't think I have anything particularly valuable, but it does add up...

Impressive collection.

I've got a first press mono lp of Cream Disraeli Gear from 1968. Worth a bit now. And first press of Lez Zep II from 1969.

Yes, mine has been variously tucked away for many years, the extension I did the other year has finally meant I can have it all to hand/ear. :)

Sounds ideal :thumbright:
By the way, I was tidying my cd's the other day to put them all away and in alphabetical order :read2: :geek: and out of interest (and cos the wife asked if i knew how many there were) i counted and, give or take a couple, there's 659 including about 20 of my son's.
Spose I should make sure the 666th is by Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden :angryfire:

What sort of guitars do you have on the stand? Is that a Tele 62 Custom I see?

Yes, ours are alphabetised as well, CD's and Records well, to some degree anyway. No idea how many though.

Nothing fancy on the guitar front, a Fender MIK 'nocaster', Squier CV 62 repop (both actually really nice guitars for not a lot of money), a homebuilt Strat with a Tele neck and a Telecoustic. I've got another 10 or 12 scattered around the house and office, which annoys my wife terribly. :D

Cool! Those MIK guitars are really nice.
I’ve got a similar number too, LPs, Teles, Strats and the redneck guitar of choice, Gibson Explorer 76 reissue.

Looks like this @7:00

Nice, I fall in and out of love with the Explorer, never had one but I could certainly be tempted if it looked like that. I have a 'Zappaesque' SG and a Epiphone dot 335 that I like, currently working on putting together a thin line Tele with a pair of P90's.

Zappa SG sounds cool. Like this one on Black Napkins?
