Warning - Hermes now called Evri

Post by Prothed »

"Dear Dave,
As a previous customer of Hermes services through Parcel2Go, we wanted to let you know that from today, Hermes has rebranded and is now called Evri."

You have been warned... [-X

I noticed this a few days ago Dave...I've never had a problem with Hermes but know some have. What is the issue with Evri?

Cheers Steve

I've used them several times (because they have a drop-off point very close to me) and a few items have gone missing. I've always managed to recover the money from them, but only because I had photos and receipts of everything. They ask you to prove the item was not delivered even after they admit not being able to trace it. My post was just a heads-up so no-one booked them without realising that Evri is Hermes under a new name.

I have used them hundreds of times without issue but I have often read that's not everyone else's experience.

I used them (Evri) for the first time last week. I bought something off ebay and had to arrange for it to be collected on Friday from an address in Leeds. I received an email on Friday morning saying they were going to collect it between 1130 and 1330, from my address! I looked closer at the email and they had put my address but the sellers postcode. I checked all of the info on a duplicate posting label and everything looked OK. Thankfully, they did collect from the seller buy its not been delivered to me yet....fingers crossed :D

I’m forever reading horror stories about them, but have never had an issue and used them a lot for years.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

I've always found them pretty good, but have heard other stories too. I put the insurance on too just in case.

I've found Hermes ideal for anything over 2kg, and my local newsagent is a drop off point so open all hours.

i use parcel2go

hence get hermes occaionally, and its been good.

i wonder if a buiness to buiness agreement gets a subtly different service

i.e my contract is with Parcel2go along with 100s of others.. and hermes won't want to loose that custom...

yodel don't get me started
