It's crazy stuff. I felt for Hickman in the first superbike race. He overcooked it early on on a corner and put him right back. I find the course a little bit 'false' compared to the TT circuit as they have put artificial chicanes in to slow it down. Seems daft because they aren't actually slowing anything, just full tilt for shorter periods of the race. I prefer the Ulster GP course.

I think they are now at the point of most motorsports where tyre technology will be the only way to progress in these times of stupid speeds. :thumbright:

Yeah Steve, pity everyone on Dunlops were advised to pull out of the last race. last I heard was the grand prix isn't on this year (no funding) but i'll check with my cousin. He tests the riders for 'drink taken'! Apparently was quite common in years gone by [-X . Gerry.

I would have to have had a gallon of poitin to go anywhere near one of those bikes at half the speed they go at!!
