1959 DeSoto Firesweep

Post by Mickglos » Thu Aug 02, 18 7:52 pm

Hi All,
Thinking of selling my Desoto...
I bought the car 4 years ago and it was a bit of a wreck.
The car has had extensive work done on it.
Completely rebuilt 361 engine. New pistons, cam, oil pump, valves, springs, etc, etc.
New carb, electronic ignition
Rebuilt gearbox.
Brand new wire wheels and new whitewalls.
New exhaust, fuel tank, rear lenses, disc brake conversion, shocks,
All bodywork repaired and resprayed. Needs trunk hinges welding in, and some minor work and will need respraying in that area...(mistake was made by bodyshop).
All interior re done by Chris at Custom Coach trimming...seats/headliner/door cards/carpets/etc. He has done a fabulous job.
Radiator redone and tested.
All good glass.
Loads and loads of spares.
Have every part to finish car.
I have spent a small fortune getting it this far but due to a change of circumstances have decided to part company if the right offer is forthcoming.
I have loads of photo's... If you are genuinely interested I will send pics to your email.
Re chroming and powder coating on various parts.
I have hundreds of receipts.
All manuals, parts book, etc.
V5 /UK registered.
Needs someone who will Bananarama! off and get it back on the road.
If genuinely interested it is well worth taking a look...located in Brecon South Wales.
Regards
Mick

It's the forum's sweary filter - it stops you posting certain words and it's detected the last two letters in 'finish', followed by 'it' and thinks your trying to type a naughty word with a space in the middle
