Brilliant decision. I nearly sold the Challenger back in 2009 for different reasons (illness) but realised it was my dream car and I'd never be able to afford another. So glad I kept it and got it back together. You won't regret it.

Thanks Matt,
It’s definitely the right decision, I know I won’t regret it. Might struggle for a while but it’ll be worth it in the end

Yay its an appreciating asset that makes you happy....!

and although it hangs over you for years a mortgage is the cheapest loan in real terms you will ever get, and if you talk to the lender early enough if things go wrong, they can be quite accommodating.

Or if you can stand it, a lodger is a handy way to pay the mortgage provided they don't nick your cheese and use your tooth brush to fish fluff out of their belly button.

got a mate who does that (rents out a room! not tooth brush abuse) they work different shifts at the same place hardly ever see each other

he's over paying on the mortgage now....chopping time off....he'll be paid up about 6 months earlier than anticipated

Charger is probably a better investment at the moment without a doubt, and as Dave said mortgages are as cheap as they can be... Interest only mortgages are also a sensible option if finances are tight... on most you can pay off chunks as you go without incurring any penalty fees.

I opened it, lol.
Didn’t even know there was such a site and they have adverts for my area.

Ideally I’d rather not get a lodger, but if needs must etc

Thanks for posting it Wil
