You don't want to listen to the Wife when it comes to cars, they have no idea (mine certainly doesn't). My Wife never turns up to car events either and that's been the case for 17 years.

But if you've got bored of it, then move it on.

I owned my old Esprit for 16 years and loved it, I spent 22k restoring it and set up a website on it: www.lotusespritturbo.com but I rarely drove it and it was costing me a couple of grand a year to keep it. So i moved it on.

So let someone else enjoy the car and get something else you like instead.

Charger now sold, going to a private collection along side the gentleman's Bullitt Mustang.
Had some horrible correspondence from some real P---s on ebay saying they had been offered this car last year for 30K and how dare I ask that money for it etc.etc .. Well I just got almost my asking price, just shows what you can do when you put heart and soul into a car. Sorry to see her go in many respects. Thanks for all the warm correspondence received members on this site.

Regards

Shame about the abuse on eBay Roger but it's great it's gone to a good home and you got what you wanted for it.

The american market seems very stagnant at the moment. But, the cream always rises to the top. Turning a higher value car round in a stagnant market just proves you were right all along.
When you say "dodge charger" the example you had for sale is probably what most people have in their head... tripple black 68 hubcaps that fly off and regenerate  Well, either that or a slightly newer version in orange...
There was always going to be a que out the door.

Unfortunately ebay is full of dickheads. That's just part and parcel of using the service.

Next job is to go on auto trader and leave a fly yellow ferrari up on the computer for your wife to find if you fancy a wind up? :D "Less flash" was the shopping criteria, right? 8-)

Glad you got sorted and shame about ebay. Ive never sold anything expensive on there so not had any grief. I did sell my old Mitsubishi Galant on ebay for £775. Guy came to pick it up and I was ready to show him all the 'faults'. He wasn't interested. Just thrust me a load of cash and drove it away. I loved that car :thumbright:
