yes excellent work

we need to make sure that next time there is a big feature on the club in a mag like CA that our small aussie section is mentioned....

the aussie chrysler club knew of 223 cars in the mid 90s many will have been scrapped but many will have been stored before SORN became compulsory

yeah ideally that comes off and you put either a zig-zag of steel or tubes inside the member to act as anti compression strengthening for the steering box bolts.

obviously a drain hole as well

main issue is they had this strengthening from the factory.
but no drain hole

and you end up with 1 chassis member that flexes less than the other...

hence the tend to rust out in a U shape around the front of the mounting.

Hi Gus

At least someone is keen! I'm heading down to Chrysler's at Brooklands on Sunday, would be good to see some other Val's down there. Fire up the VE!

Cheers, Andy

Our local Hot Rod & Custom club just did a week long road trip to Spain, sailed to Santander then on to the Riverside Hot Rod show, massive jouney from what I gather, sounded like fun though.
