Good turn out

all the usual faces

had a great blast back round the M25 in convoy with Henry. my misfortune of having to go round hanger lane twice (wrong lane) meant we both hit the M40 west at the same time

i haven't had a chance to observe an aussie charger on the street since i was in oz and odd sight indeed among the standard faire

quite an imposing view in the rear view mirror and great to chase along behind as well

great fun M40/M25 didn't know what had hit it. point at the white car then double take as a yellow one followed

i was grinning all the way back

Jack and I made it down there for a short time, in a Mopar (2007 Alfa 159 Sportwagon  ).
Car park was rammed by 9.30.
Great to catch up with Dave, and to finally meet Andy and Henry.
3 Valiants in the car park was a good show, and they stood out proud with the modern Aussie stuff.
the 2 XB GT 351 Falcons were stunning too. An orange and a mushroom!
Late arrival HQ 4 door with a 350 stole the show almost.

Always a cold but fun start to the Car Show year, good brekkie, good chat and some nice machinery, and still home in time to do the Sunday job list.

I really do need my Aussie Charger back on the road, starting to miss it.

Now to Dave, was stoked to see you drive in to the lot on Sunday, then have a mellow yarn with you as we had brekky at Ace.
The best it though of all was, coming up behind you at Hanger Lane, you had left a least five minutes before me, I was letting me Charger warm up before Left. Had a couple of “chicks” yell out to me as Inpulled our from Ace “beauty car mate@ in an Ozzie accent, I put old AC/DC Bon Scott cd on and made the good old Aussie girls day.
The had my day made when ended up behind Dave.
Follows Dave (and was he slow..... ) till M25, then we pulled onto M25, he sped up a bit so that was good, and we exchanged places for quite a while, when we crossed, our smiles would have lit up a County.
Dave was finding it hard to keep up with me 2 bartel Holley, he must have not tuned his 6 pack properly ha ha
Been to Ace a few times, but following Dave and then playing over take on the M25 was so much fun. Thanks Dave again for what you have done for me, never thought I would see you grin so much when I over took you ha ha !

Funny you should say that, Dave and I had fun at Santa Pod a few years back, when his six pack didn't totally beat off the old 4 barrel that i was running (Dave's old carb and manifold). I think he's sorted it now though.

Great to meet you on Sunday, must get my Charger sorted.
