junkyard Duster found on honeymoon (summer '08)

Post by Anonymous »

Been meaning to post these shots up for MMA members but last year during our honeymoon roadtrip across Nevada and Arizona we stopped near Vegas for a drink. Behind the fuel station was a run down hillbilly scrap yard with a bearded mute man and loud dog. He wouldn't let me in but I could take pics around the edge, which is where this Duster sat, in the dust. Needless to say it was largely complete and not too rusty either. Wonder if it survives? I could nail the exact spot if someone wanted to track it down?

Anyway. Non of the A-body owners here would thank you for saving another one.

Rarity is the only way an A-body can gain worth.

With that in mind Dave I'll go back to the yard this year and set it on fire. Obviously the wife will sip spring water perched on a tractor tyre once again....

A bodies dont fetch a deal unless you own a rare one and by that i mean at least a 383, 440 GTS or the daddy of them all the hurst hemi cars.
It's a shame really because the 340 sport models are superb cars to drive.
