65 Mustang Fastback

Post by mad machs »

I know I know

Anyone remember this one? It finished its days down here in Cornwall after developing a few rust blisters around the rear screen, my mate Neil scrapped
it & its parts went to the four winds.

This was the car that got me into Mustangs & as result other marques, so has (or rather had  ) a lot to answer

I believe it was around the London area before coming down here, the very subtle paint work being applied "up there" rather than "Down here" .

I don't recognise that particular car but I recall another Ford in very similar paint back then, had something to do with one of the South London speed shops, Gary's Shack or American Autoparts perhaps?

Must say Blue, those two organizations did spring to mind, along with Cliff Davis cars in Goldhawk Rd :)

Didn't Mike Allen the Capital radio DJ have a Mustang called "American Dream" with similar paint? Pretty sure Garys Shack looked after it for him
