1969 Plymouth Barracuda fastback - SOLD

Post by Pete »

For sale as a rolling shell or with an iron headed 440 that ran 11.4 at the 'Pod.

Fibreglass front end.
Cage by Hauser racing.
New Dana 60 with 4.10's and spool - Trac-loc available for extra £££
Superstock springs - not the new rubbish ones.
New Caltracs.
Tinned out.
New fuel Cell.

Currently set up for externally-oiled hemi on a motorplate.
Still has inner fenders that has been modded as per the old Superstock cars to work with an elephant.
Will work with internally oiled Big wedge if preffered.
Spare "K" frame available to facilitate if traditional engine mounts are to be used. Mix and match to whatever floats your boat.

Loads and loads of bits - too many to mention.

£8k as a roller. No PX's thanks.

Please contact me on 07711 640 359 or pete.wiseman@bt.com

Thanks

Pete

Car ran a best of 10.50 at 124mph with a 500 Indy Wedge, but was a full weight car (3400lbs - I got it weighed) then with interior (still available).

It is now much lighter, cage is to 8.50 spec, removable tunnel to get to the transmission, fibre glass dash, Dodge Viper 4 pot alloy caliper brakes.

I have transmissions, etc but I guess people will want to spec their own running gear and motor.

The car was recently upgraded at Hausers to run 9.8's whilst still remaining road legal - it has a V5 but is SORN at present. You can safely run a 29.5 x 10.5 x 15 slick on the rear.

I did see a stock Barracuda for £9.5K in CA recently, so it depends on what you want....

No, I am not buying Duncan's bird. End of.
It will make a great car for someone, though.

Still, back to MY sale............
