Fast fords ?

Post by morgan »

Minor sacrilege in these parts... but anyone do fast fords ?

After a 9 month wait this arrived this week.
Been following the development and the trick 4wd (with the internet crazed 'drift mode') coupled with 350hp in a focus sucked me in...

Got such fond memories of cosworths etc back in the day - and this thing blows them out the water on raw stats. Still - we will see. I am old and sensible now so it may prove to be one mid-life-crisis too many. Thought I would post anyway in case any other fast-ford lovers in the house

Jingle bells ! 8-)

:santa: I wondered when that would be arriving! I look forward to some better pics ;)

5 door hatchback... What mid-life crisis? Looks like a sensible choice to me... :)

Thats what I said - 5 door small family car. Wife was happy. She is less happy now she has clocked the batwing - I think she smells a rat...

Well, I've a not so fast Fox Mustang :)
Nice to drive, handles well, sits nicely and so far super reliable. Can't compete with modern stuff, but what ole cars can these day?

I like em all to be honest. Have to say if I had the money I'd probably be driving a new Mustang as a daily.

Still shocks me that it's less than 40k considering what other manufacturers try to ask for.

Cut my driving teeth with Fords as many here did I guess

I have a few fords inc a 67 390 Mustang but my current fave is my RS2000 though the FGT is quite entertaining

The MK1 RS Focus has only done 7000 miles and is mint

I have no elegance to Ford or Holden, I like both , and my Dart.
In fact I just appreciate any vehicle :thumbright:
