I’m replacing all the rear brake components on my 68 Charger. Took photos before dismantling everything but now can’t work out how to attach the arm in the phot to the other shoe, it’s not clear in my photos that I took.
Hoping someone has a clear photo of how the arm attaches or fits, everything seems to be in its way when I try to put it in place
TIA

Re: Help needed with rebuilding rear brakes
The curly spring goes on the Strut rod, not the park brake lever...

Thanks Pete,
Where does the park brake lever go though, I’m lost as to how that bit and the spring attaches

Re: Help needed with rebuilding rear brakes
Great, thanks Pete.
Looks like I was mistaken the parking brake lever for the strut, so the parking brake lever sits down the side of the shoe instead of connecting to the other shoe

Re: Help needed with rebuilding rear brakes
That is correct, effort is transferred to the other shoe via the strut.
