hi all i've just joined the forum, some of you know me red 56 belair now sold. thanks for the warm welcome at the mopar nats as a new mopar owner. crossed over from the dark side was one comment. about time you bought a real muscle car was another. thanks for the encouragement
My new project is a 1968 plymouth roadrunner. purchased off ebay pics as advertised.

The car has been off the road for some time it was owned by someone in swindon for 23 years, with two previous keepers, it was imported into the uk in 1973. from swindon it went to leicester, rutland then to its last owner rich in arkendale near harrogate. back to Swindon to be rebuilt whats the chances of that. rich spent the last year working on the car the underside has been repaired ans rust treated.

engine is 383 it has been rebuilt with new rings shells and a mild cam.it not the engine that came out of the car. as number is for a 67 engine. richard said it was bought by the last guy who started to restore the car
gearbox has been cleaned up with new filter.

engine bay has been painted mat black with will changed same colour as the car. front suspension has been powder coated in grey looks good

Saw this on ebay.
One of my fave Mopars. =P~
I only wish i had the technical and mechanical know how on how to restore a car like this. Good luck and keep the pics coming. :thumbright:

thanks to kiwi the car was brought home 220 miles.loads of bits missing just a rolling shell. got a engine and box with the car though hopefully will be ok.( not numbers matching engine);

first repair was the rear window frame the corners were gone completely
and the lower ledge was missing. two corner repair panel from Dunk at the nats and repair done.

had to cut the rust out of both rear lower panels mig welded repair patches as required some filling and shaping. i know the car was standing for some time outside when it was first in swindon a lot of water must have collected in the lower panels rotting them out.
