Car looks great! Well done for getting on with it so quickly. Just something to be aware of, you might want to reconsider painting the top of the dash yellow. In direct sunlight you get terrible glare from it on the windscreen, mate of mine did the same thing and wished he hadn't. The factory painted them satin black for a good reason.

Blue is right about the dash though, mines in the tan colour and is terrible for glare when the suns out, its really off putting :?

top marks to you nick, looks great, great to see youve brought this car back to life, i know of two other 68 383 sunfire yellow post roadrunners, is yours originally auto or manual, and are you going to paint that black funny square on the bonnet well done richard.

Hi Rchard thanks for the comments. the tag reads 383 auto tan interior. the interior will be black as the dash is in too poor condition to refurb. new head lining door cards carpet and new bucket seats all in black are waiting to be fitted.rear seat will be recovered. i will try the inner doors painted yellow if it doesn't work i will paint them black. as for the bonnet no i don't think i will go for the black strip across the vents. i will see how it looks when all assembled.the car was orange for a long time in swindon for 20 years then it went up north i don't think it was put on the road.im not a purist if it looks good thats how i will build it.
there are already some very nice restored cars mine will be used and abused on the drag strip but hopfuly nice enough to show as well.

Nicks right i was proper impressed,i couldent belive as i pulled up he had already started putting the side glass in.

The colour definitly is different in real life,i myself wasent too sure but when i saw it in the Bananarama! looked spot on,and i think with his wheel choice [which he will reveal when ready] its going to be a proper stunner.

Keep up the fantastic work nick, quickest resto turnaround???

Hi Nick,

Swindon is the new hotbed of Mopars!
Seeing the piccy of the 'PUD Roadrunner' at Brighton reminds me of the one and only JPC repairing it in his garage at the back of his house in Mitcham, seems like last year, bet it was best part of 25years ago LOL!
Looks like history repeating itself here Nick, and Sunfire is back in fashion again, I like it ALOT!
Brave decision indeed and the right decision, without a doubt!

Keep up the good work, and great to see someone with old fashioned enthusiam and energy! :thumbright:

Best wishes from Bacca, always wanted a Runner and never had one? :D
