Not to bad in the Toon tonight Andy but snowfall is forecast for every day until next week at least.

This was my street at 6pm tonight.

Glad I got those chunky tyres fitted on the Jeep the other week. :D

glad ive gone from a dodge ram dually with real knobbly to tyres to RWD car that will stuggle to get off my drive tomorrow
2 yrs ago when I had the 4X4 ram with the lift kit on it, would hardly wheelspin in the snow & still braked well, used to blast past everything in the virgin white untouched suicide fast lane, calling them all fXXkwits in the slow lane, think ill just be one of them this winter & slowly follow the car in front

The central Motorway in Newcastle is at a standstill this morning. But then again, there is nothing unusual about that.

The news says it is between 2-5 inches at the lower levels. But I just measured it and it is 6 inches.

The snow that is. Don't start.

ahhhh they are getting all touchy feely at work here

all-staff messages suggesting that we wear appropriate footware to avoid falling over in the car park........ :?

my response of I am a Weeble illicited no comment from corporate affairs team

we have a weather hot line (answer machine)....which we must call to see if we should attempt to come in on tretcherous roads......

2 miles from the m25 (allways clear (of snow at least) for the last 5 years) in a highly populated area....the chances of any of the road round here becoming blocked or impassable due to snow is minimal

the chances of them being blocked by idiots is huge

can't help feeling more people would actually turn up if they made less fuss

and its not actully snowing and has not yet.....

so two of my team have said they won't come in tomorrow if it snows because nobdy grits their streets.....

i'm not allowed to tell em to grow a pair of balls
stick a shovel in the boot and wear study shoes

jessies

bah humbug
