SLOTCARS/60,s NASCAR

Post by rogthedodge »

scalextric have released Bobby Allison's 69 Charger #22.However this is a regular Charger ,not a 500.Any knowledgable 60's NASCAR fans out there tell me whether he actually campaigned a regular 69 Charger? Adam/Tony? Happy New year All. Also to be released Mercury Cougar,#71 Daytona, and T/A Challenger.

Carolyn says Bobby Allison didn't drive a standard Charger in 1969, only 500s and Daytonas. She's probably right - I can't be bothered to look it up.

My mate got a model shop and he knows I like the US muscle cars and he showed me these a lil while back.
The Challenger is Sam Poseys green T/A car and the Cougar is one of the AAR '67 team cars.
Didn't see the Charger tho but the others look well cool :D

I didn't think they raced a standard '69 Charger. They've obviuosly just used the mould from the Dukes car to save £.Thanks Adam/Caroline hope you're keeping well.

If you're interested in Nascar slot cars Adrian have alook at some of the stuff Revell have been making.'67 Belvedere's And Chargers '65 and '67 Fairlanes.
