upper ball joints for a '68 Dart

Need 2 upper ball joints for MOT. Is Moog the best to go for and can i get them in UK. Thanks, Gerry

Small UBJ's are getting made of unobtainium, you will be surprised how hard they are to get and how expensive they are...........

These are on rockauto. Moog or raybestos for 68 dart. Isn't this it?

in my book worth paying a bit more OEM and OEM seals. metal/plastic rimed seals rather than your normal boots

i got mine of this very bloke when the exchange rate was good so it cost me somthing like 50- 60 quid + 15-20 for postage

was expensive but i was in a NOS mood

Moog is to Mopar like New process is to mopar like saginaw is to GM

OEM factory at least

Dave, does your car use the same upper ball joint as the yank a bodies?

Same as far as I can tell. All mopar top ball joints fit all mopar top arms 6? To at least 73 in us a body land

Taper should be the same as that used on early a body because all early Aussie a bodies were made from US parts

All Aussie upper balljoints listed as fitting from 62 to 82 so nothing changed since the ckd kit built r and s series

Lowers have different angle to steering arms to achieve decent Ackerman I think when the steering cross shfaft is being pulled the wrong way by a reversed steering box set up

I got upper and lower ball joints for my A-body from ROCKAUTO with 2 days delivery, very good service and quick delivery too.

Not too expensive, £220, as the MOT man failed it on the ball joints!

i think most of the trade here sell lowers at 60-65 +vat +post, lowers at 30-40 +vat + post so £220 is not that bad for the 4
i did offer a complete b body/e body front rebuild kit at £220 no sale you can not educate pork,,,,,,

Cheers Dave. Ive got them listed on our site at £15.97!!! I did have some. I need to check stock in Aus. Maybe i should get all of them!

well if you look at an aussie mopar its mainly 1968 barracuda/dart

so a lot of the range will fit

obviously BJ35 and 36 won't as the lower balljoint lever angle is different for RHD

but the rest, front, back, shocks brake flexis bump stops roll bar bushings etc

all the same

2 rear spring eye sizes
2 types of strut rod bushes

idler probabkly fits

pitman probably not bent the right way

the rest is just mopar A body small balljoint
