fantastic progress matt, hope you make your deadline, richard
Thanks for the positives feedback,
Ade the hood took a fair bit of work but worth the effort I think.
Ivor, you are right, 2009, it was nearly sold as a re-shell for a 71 R/T.
James, you need to rattle the gate harder. If the garage door is up I am there, just probably buried under wet or dry paper and filler dust.
James, will need to try and book you and Andy for the screen fitting soon, possibly a week from now?
Whole car wet flatted yesterday, 8am - 10pm, with just breaks for food and forum! Now to tidy the garage, mask up and spray the final thin primer coat.

I was very lucky that a member on here had a second hand one.raven68 wrote:Nice work Matt and great progress. As a matter of interest where did you get the TA hood scoop from as we fancy one of those..... but didn't want to fork out for a full glassfibre hood version.........
They are available as a scoop only in the US, I found it easily, will try to find the link again. but it is a lot of work to cut the hole and make it fit , and its a B*****d to paint.
Hans at Six Pack Speedshop can do the whole glass T/A hood at a good price apparently which would be lots less work.

I presume you're painting the roof black?
And reproducing the other cool stuff like the black on the scoop, T/A stripe, the '77s' & Dodge decal?
