I average over the month normally about 31mpg with a mix of town and highway use, 2004/5 Grand Cherokee XS 2.7CRD when the caravan was on the back it was down to 28mpg and with the Dart on the trailer about 25mpg .

I had two Cherokee's last year, both frighteningly thirsty. I had the six cylinder one first, then the V8. V8 was by far the best (obviously), had much better power and grunt than the six, but with very similar consumption.
Luckily they were both LPG converted. Both returned around 15 mpg.
Very nice to ride in though not much space inside, and i cracked my head several times on the tailgates :roll:
