Two of the armrests had to be thrown away as were so badly damaged and were unusable. These are the two that i was left with...

Good stuff, things gathering pace over the last few months.

On the rear parcel shelf, would it not be easier to go with round speaker grills. Must be easier to carefully mark out concentric circles & drill small holes. As opposed to the complicated rectangular grill shape.

Thanks mate...yes car all coming together very nicely now. It should be out the paint shop next week hopefully and then the fun starts putting it all back together.

Tbh regarding the parcel shelf,i may even do away with the speakers altogether but not completely decided on that yet and yes i see you point about the concentric circle idea...would be alot easier actually!! :thumbright:

Small square area of dirt shows how rotten the whole underside of this headlining was. That's 37 years of dirt,dust and everything else you can imagine. Amazing what a good hoover can do... (14/04/2015)

New dash mat arrived this morning. It will be attached and fitted covering the splits & cracks along the top of the dash once it has been sprayed tan... (14/04/2015)

My buddy visited the paint/body shop this morn and took these pics for me.

The rear quarter dent is now removed and both quarters have been welded. The side trim pins have been removed & welded and the paint is now being stripped... (17/04/2015)
